About FTGS
The
Feminist Theory and Gender Studies (FTGS) section of the
International Studies Association brings together scholars who apply feminist theory to International Relations or look at the field through a gender lens. In addition, those whose interests focus on gender-related topics throughout the field of international studies, including women in development and cross-cultural comparative studies, are encouraged to participate. The section provides mechanisms for discussion and exchange about the international dimension of scholarship on gender and about the gender dimension of scholarship in international affairs.
